This is a stunning antique Victorian-era carved cameo brooch. It has a large oval carved shell cameo pendant in a delicate, twisted ribbon style sterling setting. The cameo is a traditional, delicious sunset pink-tone shell, and the silhouette of the figure is matte white. It depicts a feminine Victorian-era figure in profile, with her gaze directed to the side over her shoulder. A dogwood or pansy flower detail is sitting right on her shoulder.
The pendant is in excellent antique condition with age-appropriate wear and patina.
