Antique Beaded Coin Purse - Native American 1800-1900s Beaded Pouch
$99.00Price
These beaded items were usually made by Native Americans Iroquois, and sold as souvenirs at train stations and Niagra Falls in the northeast in the late 18th century.
The red cloth that was used to cover up the inside shell is coming off in certain places, revealing the leather and newspaper used to form the small purse. This piece has an eye and hook closing, that is still useful. Some beading is beginning to fall off, and the handle is tucked inside because of its poor quality. This is a piece of American history.
